The Lighthouse Elementary Cooperative Specialist Grant was created in 2008 as a way for Lighthouse to show support and appreciation for the Specialist staff at Jefferson and to benefit the entire Jefferson student body.

Purpose
The goal of the grant is “to encourage specialists and support staff at Jefferson Elementary to implement innovative and effective instructional strategies that result in all students learning to high standards.”
Grant Amount
Up to $1000.00 is available to all specialists and support staff at Jefferson Elementary School. The money is to cover materials, subscriptions, fees, release time workshops and/or consultants.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible specialists and support staff include Technology, ELL, LAP, Library, Math Facilitator, Music, Occupational/Physical Therapy, Physical Education, Psychologist, School Counselors, Speech Therapy and Special Education.
Application Process
In order to be considered, completed Lighthouse Specialist Grant Applications are due by the third Friday in October.

I understand that my proposal and grant may be shared with others in order to further the goals of Lighthouse Cooperative’s Specialist & Support Grant Program. I understand that Lighthouse Cooperative reserves the right to accept or reject my proposal. I also understand that Lighthouse Cooperative may be willing to provide a lesser grant sum, if more than one application is accepted within the current school year.
